Music is often regarded to be the language which brings people together. Studies have also shown that music can be an important part of foetal brain development, so it makes sense to integrate music into a child’s life. Learning a musical instrument in particular provides a range of social, intellectual and physical skills for a child.
Practicing an instrument can be really beneficial for social and behavioural development, as well as discipline and and concentration. Our music program aims to introduce children music, dance and learning an instrument, which helps them to explore rhythm, beat, and melody.
Playing an instrument uses both sides of the brain, so it’s the perfect way to develop your child’s learning skills while having fun along the way. Children will often enjoy playing an instrument, as they can see (and hear) their own progress as their skills advance.
At Papilio Prep, your child will have the opportunity to learn piano from a qualified educator who will help them to learn piano basics and build on their hand eye coordination. Through this program, your child will also benefit from improved memory, listening, comprehension, fine motor skills and self confidence.
